Melanie Dreher, RN, PhD, FAAN explains her cannabis and pregnancy research study in Jamaica. Pregnant women and their children were studied for over ten plus years, both marijuana smokers and non-smokers were included in the study. One of the first scientific studies of the effects that cannabis may have on pregnancy and the child's development thereafter.
This video is from The Fourth National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics presented by Patients Out of Time in 2006.

I feel a need to share this with women who are trying to get pregnant and those who are. I found out cannabis as food has folic acid-something unborn babies need.
Cannabis also relieves morning sickness, constipation some cramping involved with pregnancy and so on. Munchies help pregnant women to eat without retching and have a healthy baby. Listen. I know laws and people cause fear....but cannabis can help women have healthy pregnancies and better labor.
